    Thanks guys, in my special spot now, its a little bridge waterway which leads to an estuary its about 20 metres wide and my uncle caught sharks and large fish there. I would never of excpected that, but i will take your advice and maybe bring out some gang hooks.

    Yeah it was alive but balmain bugs are supposed to be brown but this was white it had not really seen sunlight as it was much bigger than the fishes mouth so i think it was probably in the leatherjacket since it was alot smaller and was growing in there, we pulled it from brisbane waters at ettalong beach.

    Hey guys i've been fishing at brisbane waters (land based) at ettalong under the railway bridge at woy woy, patonga, umina beach, ocean beach and lobster beach to catch only about 11 fish up to about 22 cm these included snapper bream and a luderick. these were all caught under the railway bridge. all times were coming up to high tide and night.

    Last year i caught a 33 centimetre leatherjacket and inside its guts was a round white bug and we researched about it and found out it was a balmain bug.

    Hey guys, i was wondering what you all think on which kind of rod is more durable flexible and catches more fish, i think graphite for smaller fish as you can feel the bites better and stronger fiberglass rods as the fish get bigger.

    This brown trout was caught somewhere in the US by an angler called Steve Ryan, It weighed in the mid thirty pound region.
