Hi i was just reading a fishing report and it stated that one guy caught 3 Estury perch up to 40cm around at kirribilli. Is it true or even possible as i thought EP's were freshwater or brackish water fish..

Whats does WD-40 do to your lines? And what is inox? I have never really oiled my reels before and when i have it has been with wd40..by the sounds of things thats not a good choice..

fishing saterday, kayak fishing sun morning with my dad and then grand final sunday night, going up to broome on monday for a week with mum , dad and my brother for a holiday ...cant wait

Thanks for that Can i use a plastic bag for it and tie it up seeing as i dont have a ziplock bag big enough No ink from this squid at all...dont know why but lots of slime..

Hey, i caught a squid today and want to keep it for bait for tomorow or friday. Should i freeze it or leave it in the fridge? BTW it has not touched fresh water or anything. Thanks

Well went for a troll all around balmoral, navy wharf area for about 1 hr, caught my fist trevally on a lure (it went 39cm) and one tailor about 38cm, had a few more hits but no hookups but i was happy enough, Great way to christen the kayak Also saw lots of baitfish being harrased by birds but no fish and 1 little fairy penguin Cheers Rob -
Hey guys i was just wondering what type of fish are around at the moment in sydney harbour , are there any tailor or any other pelagics around middle harbour yet? might hava troll tomorow ...hopefully find some action.. Thanks Rob

Yeah... HOPEFULLY there will be more trevs than last week....1 in 4hrs (although it was my second best )

Hey , i might go for a troll on my kayak on sat morning i have never been out in the harbour trolling before so any ideas where to go thats are generally flat and might hold fish Will be trying for anything pelgic..& setting off from balmoral thanks in advance

Hey guys i got a fishing kayak today ...sadly its kida heavy and made of fibreglass but it has 2 rod holders and 2 dry compartments so i dont really mind ahah, just wondering if theres any good fishing spots in syd harbour for me to try just to get the feel of things before getting 2 serious thanks Rob

Mate what time were you there? i was there today and caught quite alot with my friend all up : 2 trevally (biggest 35cm), 2 huge yakkas, 4 leather jacket including a pretty big fan belly , a few more small yakkas and lost 2 trevally...all using peeled prawns & pillie pieces

I might be going 2moro aswell, just make sure you burley and just drift and unweighted piece of pillie down in your burley trail and you should have some fun with the trevally if they are there.
