Fished Boany heads from dwan untill the winds picked up. Used squid and pillies but only picked up a few Port Jacksons and the odd undersized snapper. Have attached a few pics. Cheers

ive been going there for almost 20 years now, and have honestly never heard it said any other way than ki-o-la... even from the caravan park owners. Who knows, maybe im just ignorant in the way its pronounced. Great place either way...

I camp down an Kiola every christmas. Can be a good spot when its not over fished in the holidays. Try up around Bawley Point next time you are there

same here... if its a big enough saving, i dont mind importing the item. Freight charges will also be kidna costly. Tackle and minor gear i buy from a local shop. If you can build up a relationship with the owner, he will usually pass on a discount in the long run anyway.

We didnt actually measure him up, only got the weight of 14.4kg. Had 2.5m swell with 20knot sinds and a 4knot cross current. Showers during the day. Still worth it....

Hey, Thought i would post this pic of the 14.4kg dollie caught by my neighbour a few weeks back out off Shelharbour. Broke the outrigger when it struck, you can see it on the right hand side.

Thats exactly what we will be fishing for. Looking for both my first Kingy and decent Snapper. I will post some photos of our catch (if we actually catch anything, lol)
