hey guys has anyone done any fishing at lake st slair, near singleton? im pretty sure its freshwater. im heading up there in a week and wondering what is caught there and how to target them, as i have never done any freshwater fishing before??? thanks for the advise

hey raiders, im looking at getting a good kingfish set up for the upcoming season, i have budgeted 1000 dollars for rod and reel. Idealy should be able to bring in kingy's up to 1m still with a good fight. looking at a spin reel. ive had a look at the daiwa luvias 3000. will this bee too small? should i go a 4000? what 4000 reels are in the price range of 500-600? i would prefer a shimano or daiwa for both reel and rod. im very lost at the moment.
