Hey all I went today and bought gear to finally try catch a flathead on plastic can anyone tell me Where I can go and walk sand and throw plastics around to try crack a flatty I no anywhere with sand I have a chance but can anyone point me in the right direction to where uses reckon I have a good chance to get one any help will be great only wana catch one to see wat all the fuss is about with plastics only bait fish I have tryed plastics a couple times but never had any luck but I could just be fishing the wrong spots

I have a quintrex spirit 5.4 and i have hinges on my windscreen so i can pull it down so it fits in my garage and only the plastic dash sticks up ive reversed it 100s of times in the shed no worries but this one time i hit it and trying to figure out how to put pics up

Hey all was considering to upgrade my motor but might just keep my old one and get a full service does anyone from sydney west no any decent boat motor mechanics that dont charge thru the roof but does a proper job

I rang i dealer near me and he said there was a boat show on the weekend and 4 the next few day he has show specials for a suzuki 115hp 4 stroke installed for 14g usually 17g not sure if its true tho

Hey all i have a 5.4 quintrex spirit and it has a yamaha v4 115hp 2 stroke very strong motor and has never let us down but we are thinking of a upgrade to a 4 stroke motor been told the suzuki have a good 115hp 4 stroke very fuel economic and quiet but unsure can anyone point me in the right direction as to wats best and where in sydney west to buy and get it installed aby help would be great

Really i was on the water yesterday out broken bay and was rough as guts was gona try tomorrow not sure if its calm enough only new to it all and after yesterday how bad i found it im not sure wats a good swell

Hey all been trying to see if it will be carm to try take the boat to long reef for the first time and ive looked at a few sites and it says 1.1m but on the news it said 1.5 to 2 metres can anyone confirm if it will be a calm day tomorrow or will it be rough i wanted to go outside yesterday but when i got to the head it was rough as and was a bit of a waste any help would ne great

Thanks locodave i installed mine without any drama but been trying to put marks in but when i type the numbers in some marks i cant put the excate numbers in cause it wont let me have u notice it if so do i have it on the wrong settings or am i meant to convert it not real gps marks smart so not sure wats wrong

Hey all going for a fishing tomorrow looked at the weather and swell if anyone else has checked the forcast would use would use consider it rough last time i checked it said 1 to 1.5 also much happenning around the heads thinking of getting bait then tolling to long reef then downrigg 4 kings it will be our first time going past the heads so any help would be great

Hey all my brother just bought a 5.4 quintrex spirit and we were looking at trying to chase dolphin fish or any game fish deep sea we have never been more then a few hundred meter of shore so everything is new to us we have gone up and spend big on everything needed for the boat and better fishing gear to take it outside we were thinking of going out of sydney head cause got told that where i need to go i dont have any marks to navigate to but ill research em hopefully i find something. Just wondering when use went out for the first time have any of use gone out with no experience. If so how hard did use find it and should i be worried also is the boat we have capable of going to where i can catch some type of game fish eg dophlin fish sorry for the stupid questions just looking for any advise or help in any way
