Hey all going fishin for the first time in a while on Saturday and wondering wat areas going well . herd that bass and flinders point is ok but never been there and im not sure how dangerous it is . Or there is central or up the coast not sure were to go . Idont mind anything from salmon tailor flathead or even I king if im lucky lol any advise would be good cheers

Hey all steve hear . Planning to take the boat out next weekend somewhere in the hawkesbury but I haven't been fishing In a while and not sure where to go and wat I should expect to catch . I don't mind wat I catch just wondering if anyone's no of any spots like around lion island or maybe inside that I might have a chance . Cheers people

Thanks 4 your helP I ended up going of the beach at Avalon and we caught 12 legal tailor another 3 undersize and a stingray my mate enjoyed it cheers

Hey all just lookin 4 some advise I'm takin a mate fish landbased this afternoon and not sure where to go where I might have a chance of catching . My mates never been fishin before and hopefully if I catch I might get him interested in it and have some one to go with cause I mainly go on me own . Any quick advise would be awesome cheers

hey all been thinking of trying to land my first king or bonito off land tomorrow morning but not sure where to start . does anyone no of anywhere where i might have a chance on hooking onto a king or bonito either central coast or northern beaches not to worryed on the size cause they all got back into the drink cause i just wana feel the fight of these fish .not a fan of eatin fish just love the fun side of it any help would be great . ive head barrenjoey head or avoca have kings and bonito atm but thats only wat ive herd not sure if its true any tips or places i can try would be great thanks in advance THE LOVE OF FISHING

I fish dusk or dawn if the high tide there fish both side of the tide I use beach rods with 6500 baitrunners and 20 pound lo stretch line

Been going kilcare and potonga but not much happening there My rig I usually use 4 tailor and salmon is rolling sinker about 1/2 half a meter of line then triple gangs hooks and full pilchard and also I use bonito as bait as well last year I was gettin a fair bit but this year not much around kalcare and potonga have u been gettin any landbased

hey all been going fishing a bit land based and been having not much luck with only one 40cm flathead and a sweep but been trying to get a couple of tailor or salmon 4 a bit of fun not a fan of eatin fish just out there 4 the excitement. can anyone help me out on where i can go land based where i have a good chance of gettin tailor or salmon atm i went today at potonga and got nothing but that flathead so if anyone has been gettin luck in the brisbane waters or northern beaches i would really aprieate the advice cheers steve

There was a bloke gettin some good whiting but I was going 4 flathead and bream and he was using live worms which I didn't have . Happy fishing

Hey all went out on thursday and bought a rod and reel to target bream and flathead and went to try my luck first I hit up the entance and spent about 4 hours trying everything to test my new gear on a nice bream or flathead but nothing . Alot of people were there and was shocked to see everyone that was catching small bream were keeping them and there were no bigger them 100mm I. Was shocked wonder y there is isn't any big fisht there. Anyway thought I'll move away from there and try woy woy but nothing legal. Does any one no any where I have a good chance of catching a legal bream or flathead , any help would be awesome thanks advance

Hey all been really wanting to catch a Jew but never had any luck just wondering if someone and tell me where I can go tonight and try . Also wat rigs and bait is best any help would be awesome just wanting to fell the fight not a fan on eating any fish so all My fish get released so I'm no threat lol thanks heaps

Thanks 4 all the help did end up going avoca and only caught a small snapper nothing worth writing a report on was talkin to some other who fished all night only caught 1 or 2 salmon and some under sized tailor thats the first fish I've caught in 4 fishing outing don't no wats going on this year. This time last year I was catchingt heaps of salmon tailor bonitos and kings but can't seem to find em .I try and go fishin at least once a week just 4 fun all the fish I catch get released 4 they r no uses to me . If anyone knows any land based areas around central coast that has fish coming in would love to give a go startin to miss the fun of any type of fight lol thanks

Hey all haven't been fishing 4 some time and was thinking of going to avoca tomorrow either on the sand or rocks haven't been to avoca fishing 4at least 2 years just wondering how the fishing up there and wat fish I should target . Still tossing up weather to fish the sand or rocks I'm thinking the rock but not sure if it's holding much fish ATM any help would be good thanks
