Hey all not sure if im putting this in the right section but we bought a 5.4 quintrex spirit and we want to take it outside but it only has a cheap fishfinder on it atm and was wondering wats a decent plotter/gps i can buy and should i buy something with a fish finder on it aswell something no more then $1500 cheers any help would be great

Hey all up port stephens on a hoilday and been fishing a few spots in the bay and still havent landed a fish so thought i better just go back to wat i no and fish of the beach. Im entering from gan gan rd entry so anyone who knows much about the area as ive never fished it but im expecting the odd tailor or salmon but with the luck im having probably be nothing around out there aswell

Cheers scratchie thats great help will try theses and let u no how i go ill be happy to catch 1 decent fish to show the kids then let it go cause just happy to catch em not a big fish eater . any recommendations for good baits for kings and flattys i no theses days everyone use artificial baits but im still old school and use baits as ive had no luck with plastics thanks again mate

Hey all i used to have a phone number where I could ring it anytime and get up to date weather swell and alot of other info over the phone it was a pre recorded thing and was real helpful to pick the right day to head out but cant seem to find the number any where would anyone no the number cheers

Hey all just bought a boat and been trying to catch my first kingy in pitwater i read that alot of people have luck downrigging live squid in pitwater and getting the odd kingy. Im buying a downrigger but not sure how to use it and where in the pitwater to try my luck also always trying to catch squid but never had luck i no im starting from the bottom but gota start somewhere. Only keen to fight a kingy then release got no interest in keeping fish as my fun is in catching em any help would be great cheers

Hey all im wondering if anyones having any luck getting any tailor of the beach around central coast or a little further as I seen the tide looks ok tomorrow and wana take a mate who have never caught a fish before out and I used to enjoy catching tailor when I use to go so thought ill see if anyone can put me in the right direction. Only going for fun I dont keep any fish and only go fishing a few times a year so want to try at least get one lol thanks

Hey all I haven't been fishing 4 about 7 months cause of family commitments and work and it looks like I have a free Saturday night and was thinking of tryin a beach around the central coast any tips or places that I might have a chance of gettin a few I throw everything back so I'm no threat to your spots lol just wana make the most of a bit of free time which don't come often.also any help on wat fish are biting ATM I no it's gettin cold now but still wana try get a line out. I wouldn't mind catchin a salmon if there still about . Any help would be awesome cheers

Hey all went to bass point and hill 60 and fished both places 4 a couple of hours for nothing not even a bite wat going on . r the fish up the coast ATM or was I just unlucky . This time last year I was gettin a few from them places but nothing so far. talkin to a local and he told me nothing been around mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!Merry Xmas to all and hope use do better off the rock then I am ATM lol

Got nothing at all and I threw everything at it bait under float lures poppers and the float with the white Xmas tree lure and no hit at all
