if ur fishing at the back end near the canels it was probley my younger cousins you met they live few houses up,there was some salmon busting up there about a week ago when we were having a flick for flatties just on the mouth of the canel as well as shit loads of tailor,ive been told the odd kingie gets taken there to by a older local bloke who fishes it regularly

hey guys ive got a 1986 mariner 80hp with power tilt and quicksilver controls however the motor has craped its self and ive bought a replacement being a 1980 blue band mercury thunderbolt 80hp but without power tilt and trim and with older mercury controls,both motors are prety much identical and im wanting to swap the tilt and trim over from the mariner and use the quicksilver controls as there easier to use and have the trim switch but problem is the wireing harness seems to be different at the motor,ijust wondering if any of you guys have tried this or have any knowledge if this is possible. all help is much appreciated cheers chris

Good on ya bud,first time ive ever heard of a perch there was it in the top part off the weir or lower where the walk way bridge is?that explians the silver flashes i see every now and then

congrats on the new reel mate and happy birthday,ive got the same problem i just bought the stella fe 2500 which im putting 15lb braid powerpro,but struggling with the rod cause i dont want to rush into it,i want to have the perfect match..are you gonna be useing plastics or bait??
