top effort mate..i had a few witches hats out few weeks back but someone was nice enough to run over them all and in the bin they went...

u can try for yakkas around pulbah island and also squid round there or wangi point..

i have caught a few jewies round the mouth of jeruselum bay and just inside it...

i have never had a problem at parsley bay in brooklyn..

probably part of the same pod that we seen coming back down the coast..at first the deck hand called out a marlin but was a nice surprise..

yeh was thinking that the reason for no fish and not my bad luck....we saw a pod of dolphins earlier in the morn and a few whales jumping around aswell...there were a couple baby killer whales and one massive male think there was about 20 all up....they were heading up the coast too

went out on a charter couple of weeks back terrigl to get into the kings...first couple drops we jigged up some rat kings then the leather jackets set in and searched all along the coast but couldn't get a hit...On the way back to the marina we saw a big pod of killer whales which followed us for a few mms swimming under our boat and breaching right beside us...made a lousy days fishing awesome..was worth the money just seeing those guys...the skipper said he hasn't seen killer whales up around there for 15 or so yrs.....

Last time I was up there I caught a couple squid at wangi point on prawn..was luck I think but also caught them all round pulbah

How far out is longeeef?....is it epirb territory

Was wondering how wisemans has been fishing...fished hawksbury around the vines last week for about 20 catfish and couple of eels...

i have had alot of success bass fishing with buggy pops mainly the darker colours...just throw them out and let them sit on the water for a bit..if nothing happens just keep twitching it every now and then and see how it goes....

was out in the harbour today and fish busting up at the wedding cakes and also bout a km out were small kingy's..managed to catch a couple but biggest one was like 40 cms but still 1st ever kingy landed....still dont have an epirb roughly how far out does it get to 60m went to around 40m and didnt wanna risk it..also how much weight do u guys use out there cuz i had on 2 snapper sinkers and still not sure if was making the bottom or not...

Hey guys and gals...this question is probably asked all the time but what is the best way to catch yakkas ? Hook size and bait and so on any help would be awesowe...in all my years of fishing slot of the time seemed rushed but now wanna take my time and get out that little bit earlier and try and get some fresh bait and hook a real big fish

awesome catch mate sounds like alot of fun....never really put in the time to catch live bait but want to start getting into to it as starting to hit the harbour a bit more these days...how do u guys catch yakkas and any good spots between i usually launch at wharf road and the harbour ?

i have been fishing there on and off since about 93 and never really caught anything there..had the odd leather jacket or tailor and a couple of big bust offs...good catch mate

i will be fishing in anywhere from 2m to 60m....i have looked at a few of them the dsi combo is couple hundred extra dollars and the sonar scan only does directly below ur boat i think

Hey guys im in need of a new fish finder as the one i had is dead after some dodgy wiring from previous owner..thought i would take it to get all checked out for peace of mind and glad i did because was told my boat was a fire hazard but thats another story....ANYWAYS im torn between the LOWRANCE ELITE 5 COMBO or the new GME G SERIES COMBO which comes with better detail map...if anyone has either of these i would love to hear some feedback on them....cheers

took my father in laws kayak out for a fish in the nepean down at devlins road on the weekend to try and catch my 1st ever bass...had a few goes from the bank and a boat before but never any luck and finally got it....3rd cast i actually went over a tree branch then straight into the water which actually did me a favour, few of the leaves must had stirred the surface and couple seconds later at 23cm bass hit my surface lure...My 1st ever bass now the tricky part was keeping it out of the weeds and getting my line out of the tree which i did and was cheering afterwards...ended up with another bass around the same size and dropped a couple more so will definately be out there again trying for more bass now
