personally i think cleats should be mandatory, life jackets for none strong swimmers and night fishing i see people all the time bare foot going right up to the rock ledge at avoca who have 0 experiance on the rocks and fall flat on their arse and are lucky they dont go into the drink! and what do they do ? get up and try get to the ledge again!!!!!!

I also add some crused garlic (just from jar stuff) and mix it with the parmasan and chicken....

Only problem i have is when you open it on the boat your permanately hungry with the smell....

that is when i actually cooked it up and ate it instead :/ it smelt too good for the fish lol

mate with our without waders in areas like that you will always get bogged as its a muddy bottom but at least i guess you wont have to try pull your legs out with your hands if u had waders on personally i hate the feeling of the muddy bottom haha

but yeh im thinking maybe do somthing like what they use in the snow to spread the weight over a wider area with maybe some tennis rackets strapped onto the boots ? may not sink as deep ? but then again if it fails might stick in harder not really sure

Hi Dhutchy, I've been eating fish from the harbour for the last 50 odd years & as far as I know it hasn't hurt me. I used to drag cars at home bush back in the 60's & what I seen dumped there would make your stomach turn. Just because they filled it and built over the swamps doesn't stop the poisons from leaking into the water ways there.

i use a pressure cleaner coz im lazy n my paint is still the original paint so when it gets lil worse im going to respray the whole boat my self but yeh the karcher does kinda rip some paint off on the flaky spots if i go up too close but otherwise its fine.
