I heard of a few large fin caught today and that was beyond browns if that helps you.

That's the second report of a big dollie caught this week awesome.

The weather is wild out there wouldn't you know it get some time off and it all turns to crap but as i mentioned in my previous post I will hang on to those who have sent me there details and see if we can organize something when the wind decides to settle.

If your looking at the daiwa bull 1000 and comparing it to the miya epoch cx8 then your not comparing apples with apples perhaps look at the cx5 and compare it to the daiwa i know what i would buy .

Hi all, I have a week off as of the 4th of July & keen to give the YFT a go weather permitting. I have a 6.4 mtr trailcraft all the gear but can only fish midweek & possibly on Sundays due to kids sports.If anyone would like to tag along you will only need to share fuel costs, help clean the boat afterward & you can bring your favorite lure or rod if you want to. When heading out wide I launch at Botany & live at Castle Hill.

Totally agree I'm itching to give the fin a go but not worth the fuel in these conditions.

Go try fish in close around the gap and your live bait will be hit in no time.

Nice fish glad to see there around we fished the harbour last Saturday and the rat kings were a pest couldn't get to the bottom without getting smacked.

I actually seen that show when he caught the fish but unlike the report said it wasn't released it actually died from the battle and all efforts to release it failed.

Can anyone please tell me is the 12 mile an actual reef because i went out there according to the gps marks i have and wasn't able to find one.
