  1. Yes, Ive fished there.

100m north of the point is a sancturay now.

The swell is just scary at the point or Bowen island. I'm sure there some major fish there, I'm just to scared to go there if it's rough.

Once you go out of the heads there are just cliffs. Now where to go in case of an emergency so I don't go out too often, only when its calm.

By boat Murrys beach is the quickest.

Yep, My Wife lost a good friend from Point Perpindicular, drowned. pretty dangerous

  2. My names Derek (Deek) I'm 44,

I'm married with 2 kids, Jessica, she's 14 & Glenn, he's 12. I work in records management (not the music type). I live in the Blue Mountains (Springwood). I've been married for 18 years and I'm still working on the :wife: to go fishing.

Before I was married I was a member of the Erina Leagues Social Fishing Club. My Pb is a 4.8kg Drummer ( i held the club record in 1989), a 3.3kg kingy and a 1.5kg Chinaman Leatherjacket. I own a grey 4.55 polycraft frontrunner with a maroon canopy. I like to fish Central Coast (have a mate that lives on the water at Woy Woy), Botany Bay and South Coast. I'd love to get out more often. I would really like to know how to fish with SPs. Come and say G'Day if you happen to see me.

    Cheers

    Derek

  3. I like the poly because it is a softer ride than a tinny, it is dual skinned and each skin is 10mm thick, so you can screw into the plastic. The sides are about 900mm high. If you scratch or damage it, you just get a heat gun and sandpaper basically and the scratch is gone. I have a 4.55 frontrunner, the hull without outboard is 320kg. Mine's a 2002 model and i bought it from Queensland for $12000 secondhand. I guess it depends on what you like aluminium or plastic. Just my thoughts.

  4. Hi Deek,

The cover and bimini were made by Streamline in Kirawee, top job by a pair of nice blokes ... I have had 3 covers done there over the years and will go back there again, one day.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, I am really pleased to be this close to finished :1naughty:

Thanks Whitto, Thinking of getting one done for my Poly. Yours looks really neat Whitto. Can I be rude ask what the cost was?
