Yep, I saw it and they replayed the actual 000 call. I must say I was getting a little teary listening to it.
Well done Donna & Stewy. The only criticism is that you both should've been wearing Fishraider gear for the TV.

Hope you all had a great day

Weather man is frustrating me today for Australia day forecast.
Showing a picture of rain with a lighting strike and grey cloud, then a sun behind it.
Now that sounds like 4 seasons in one day to me.
Then forecast reads,
Becoming cloudy. The chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Light winds tending northeast to southeasterly up to 35 km/h during the afternoon.
Now i understand around 3pm wind will change to southerly, and storm cell might hit.
But becoming cloudy? From sunny, or overcast? Or average?
I am deciding whether to hit the harbour on the boat with friends.
Whos going and whos not?
Who can read the weather better than me?
Mate, I'm staying at home. It's going to be a shite fight on the Harbour.

G'Day Raiders,
I have a Hummunbird 150SX Sounder. It came with the boat when I bought it some 5 years ago.About 12 months ago I had to replace the transducer & Cable.I was out fishing the other week and turned it on and it read 183m.I then turned it off and back on again and it read 20m. When I replaced the transducer I kept it in the same position as the last one.
Can anybody shed any light on the problem or is it terminal & I need a new one?

reversed the boat down the ramp at lake Conjola and I couldn't work out why the bloody boat wouldn't slide off the trailer. Turns out I forgot to remove the rear tie down strap.

Hi Cut Loose,
If you're worried about it I would get an inspection done. You could contact one of our sponsors, Xtreme Mobile Marine & see if they do inspections

Hey Jamie,
Mate - I am very keen for some JB fishing action. I am sydney based, but have a place in Berrara (30 mins south of Nowra), which I am at every second weekend (am there this weekend).
Sounds like there are marlin around, and probably kings etc around the JB entrance/headlands.
I have more fishing gear than I can poke a stick at, including blue water stuff (Tiagra's etc), which are desperate to get used.
I can go at the drop of a hat, and am more than willing to chip in with costs, wash-down and maintenance, etc...
I have a coxswains certificate, and have worked as a fishing guide in the northern territory a few years back.
Give me a bell if you are keen for a fish this weekend.
Cheers,
Ed Cain

Hi BFB,
Maybe you need to tune the aerial in?
-
G'Day,
Alphabet,
I'm hoping to be down there at Xmas as well. Friends have a holiday place down there & we regularly go down as well. I'll PM you my details if you like and maybe we can go out for a fish?

Well done Tommy,
Lucky you weren't at the Nepean on Sunday. There were cowboys waterskiing in 8 knot zones & no skiing zones. You might've caught a skier instead.

Going by the name of the place, I'd say MOZZIES
Quite the opposite, actually.

I guess the adrenalin takes over and you go into overdrive in a situation like that. Great to see that both of you never gave up. This is another reason why, we all, myself included, should do a first aid/CPR course.
