G`day bubba, thanks ,yeah your right there is a wide variety on offer as for the tailor , you can keep em, they have cost me too many quality lures recently that wern`t ment for `em.Yeh the odd gurnard pokes his head up now & then ,there is also heaps of luderic or blackfish in the Basin, but i don`t think too many people chash `em ,i think they go after them more in the river,i have caught 1 on a blade ,but see heaps when fishing the shallows

Good stuff there mate well done,shame about the one that got away but those kind of things keep you keen for more even though they break your heart at the time.

G`day, hey Snag ,let us know how you go on monday ,here are some of Tangled1 ` s shots from saturday

Now the fun part , fished the basin again today(saturday) ,this time i hooked up with fellow Fishraider Tangled1 & pretty much targeted bream ,we used mostly blades early,the berkely big eye was the weapon of choice early for Tangled1 & produced the goods,moved several locations trying different blades including ecogear zx`s & damiki 42`s all with success ,we also got into a few by catch like snapper ,flathead,tailor & whiting, then it slow a bit so we tried some chubby`s & atomics in the shallows the rest of the day & although it was tough going with the gin clear and glass condtions the managed a few more , we released all of todays fish,had a great day look forward to fishing with you again Tangled1 & look forward to some of your pics as well.

G`day, i went for a fish on friday with my `ol man & his mate from the bush,we hit the basin in what would be called a respectable time ( so the old blokes had their coffee`s & cereal )got some nice bream & a few whiting & some flathead mostly using blades .We kept a few as the `bushy` dosent get to eat fresh fish that much,he caught his 1st bream on lures & was stoked.

g`day my first post here ,i fish with lures only hard bodies mostly of late,i fish st georges basin ,headed out on saturday fished in 3 to 5m of water & got about 10 bream , a few small flatty`s & some pesky tailor that cost me 2 sx40`s in my 1st 2 cast!,these were the legals only kept the whiting for my `ol man let the others go which is my usual thing,looking forward to hpefully learning a lot from everybody. cheers Iggy
