  1. the bucket and perspex works a treat.but the perspex will scratch up -eventually when cutting the bottom out of the bucket, leave a lip of about 1cm all around for the perspex to sit on and bind to.
  2. my brother is getting some from the beach.
  3. hi pinkus. congrats mate.we could start a club i got my first EP around the same size on the weekend. it was also on a hardbody it was on a pink bassday sugardeep 35mm.it hit me close from under the wharf i was standing on at The Entrance. i thought was a black bream only realised we only get yellowfin bream.my son pulled it in and wasnt he nearly as happy as me but almost. it was actually my first FISH on hardbody lure [except tailor on poppers] and my son is suddenly interested in the tackle box with all my pretty hard lures in it now. sorry raiders no photo of mine to show at all but i will figure how to use camera phone its been playing up or its too technical n tricky for me. nath
  4. yea mate need to be careful with your money when a good part of it is applied to fishing like so many do..
  5. mine wasnt a dodgy sale, the trailer rego checked out in the sellers name.that makes him tracable for the boat that i bought from him, so thats safe enough for me.the boat wasnt great condition-wise but floats. picked it up at the local public markets on a sunday morning.

    Stone Fish?

i agree thats pretty oogly. i would think stonefish too.
  7. yea mate same here got a 10 foot aluminium on a registered box trailer with barely running 4hp for $400.great for The Entrance.it needs work but im fishing in it meanwhile.
  8. trion tournament is step up in quality from trion at $100.but i bet they on par with other in their price bracket. i looked at trion the other day and found 2-4kg rods at 6'6 and 7'.the 7'was much lighter in the tip to throw a light lure or jighead. id reckon 1-3kg in 7' would be a little extreme for me as i dont use weights of 1 gram or less for luring. 3-6 kg may be an option for you if 4grams is more your weight.hope this helps
  9. 8ft isnt much of a vessel to sit in mate cant help but get cramped up with low seating as well. about 10 feet aluminium 2 seater with a bit of width FOR fishing would be a good start and a small otbooard would push it.but respect that river and ocean also dont forget the oars..
  10. for lures a graphite rod might get a look in..but not lucky enough to know what i would like myself.
  11. pflueger are regarded and around $100 that is ifthey have a baitcaster google their site lox have breakage guarantee although no b/caster? t curve if they b/c sol great too nitro over $400 but nicer
  12. nothing for the thread starter, why bother then mate?
  13. hi anthony night times for bream fishing in winter is nailing them eh mate. nathan
