  1. Hey Cam, I think we crossed paths last night as I was getting onto the beach.I was on my own walking to the spot you blokes finished fishing. Was that you that told me about the old fella and his catch? I would've been there earlier but couldn't get leave pass. I didn't do as well as either you or welsh dave having only managed two little throwback bream.I've still got a sh@# load of learning to do. Anyway good luck on friday night might see ya there. tok

  3. Spizza, I'm getting an alvey 650bc with a decent 12 foot rod will that do? I've already got a no- name( melaluka) surf(7000) reel is that enough.And a I'll be looking out for that DVD too as I'm gonna need all the help I can get. thanks again you've been a big help! Too

  5. G,day Spizza, Mate Im from Narrabeen and am just getting into fishing. just wondering whereabouts on the beach you often fish. I've tried the pines and loftus st and only manage bream and the occasional flatty.Also try out in front of surf club but being a beginner I tend to struggle to read the beach too well.I'm aiming for pretty much the same i.e tailor,salmon and jewies. Also,if you don't mind,what rig do use on the beach. Thanks for any advice you can give I'd really appreciate it.

Laurie unfortunately I can't make it down thus weekend but if in future you head out again let me know I'd love to tag along and soak up some knowledge. Same goes for you too Anthony I'm sure I could learn a fair bit from you too. I'm in the same boat as you,having three kids of my own, nights are the only time I can get away. Kieren, if you ever need someone to head down the beach with let me know, but be warned I'm pretty crap! Lol... Cheers again.

Availability: Most nights(shift worker) Preferred location: Northern beaches...Narrabeen pref. Provide your own gear? Have some gear but it doesn't seem to be working to well yet! Provide your own boat? Not yet! G'day I'm new to this site and pretty new to fishing so any help that i can get will be awesome as I'm struggling at the moment to get any consistency with my fishing.I actually get out to the beach a bit and even down to spit bridge but I'm lucky to catch one keeper fish every five or six trips.I'm pretty crap and the missus is starting whether I'm even going fishing or not!!! lol. Willing to learn any form of fishing. I'd be thankful to even get a reply to this post. By the way this forum is a great idea by the looks of it it's paid off for some. Sam
