Swordfisherman can u post a pic of the lure u used to get that trevally also howd u get it bouncing of the bottom or slow retriving half way down? also for the snapper howd u do dat?

Can u eat frigate mackerel sashimi also is it nice??? has anybody tasted it

Nah no trev's but got around 4 legal size snapper in the bay and also heaps of big tailor and yellowtail also 2 30cm bream when the sun came up fish started skooln everywhere but motor wouldnt start and got towed to the ramp we fished at around 2 -6 am and got those fish and wen the sun came up we had motor problems

crazyjohn is not lying it is true a few ppl of the past few years have cauight a few yft but tiny ones and also heard of a guy that hooked a cobia there also so must be true would love to see the pics

I rekon u should pick up a kingie or bonito anywhere in the bay from lilli pilli onwards around lilli pilli you should get around the morred boats theres a big hole there where u should get lost of kings and jews i always see ppl trolling and downrigging there

Hey all went out to botany bay on saturday and there was over 10big schools of big yellowtail just wanted to ask why do yellowtail school and why now also would something be chasing them or are they chasing something?

ill be goin friday night till morning for a a troll and then bottom bash for some kingfish hopefully and then sunday i am gonna go to lilli pilli to catch a few frigates and squid as bait.

Im gonna go to the Oil wharf at botany bay friday midnight and stay till around 10 in the morning and wondering wat will i catch there at night and is there any jewies der?

Yer he used fresh squid he had caught a few nights back and he trolled everywhere
