Hey guys I am trying to explore wharves at the harbour. I saw this cliffton garden pleasure ground looks nice, but i dont know if its fisherable there or not. Also the wind this weekend goes as high as 30knots, and i be doing bread fishing with no weight. I dont if i will be productive or not under that condition.

how are you fishing for kingfish? Landbased on the rocks with pilichard or live bait or spinning metals On a boat jigging or trolling or live baiting Jetty spinning or bread feeding?

its pretty safe to eat fishes at george's river, but if u feel unsafe its better if u dun eat it.

People are just not educated enough. If the council impose a fine on these people, it will give the council the insentive to check the jetty and keep the jetty open. Council maybe should also be in pain uniform as well

I totally agree with you! I hate people catching and keeping undersize fish! there is a certain type of people that likes to do that. U see it too often. These people often dont have licence! no ethics at all! and THEY CANT FISH! thats why they keep undersized fish! As with littering, once i brought one of my family friend's son. his like 9, and he actually littered right infront of me. he threw a plastic bag into the water. JUST because it was easy. took me a good 10-15minutes to get it out of the water. It is so embarrassing for me and for asians. I never went fishing with him again.

i heard its not that time of the year to go jb yet. you need the waters to be warmer to go up there to chase tuna and that. you can catch kings bonito and salmon in sydney thats me assuming u live in sydney.

it depends on if your fishing at the jetty or at the rocks. At the jetty, wind that is blowing your way means that you could not get your cast out if your using lures and that. if your fishing at the rocks and the wind is blowing your way, but the swell is good therefore relatively big, you dont have to cast it far and you can just feed the line and the bait floats out! So it just depends if your fishing at the jetty or at the rocks

Are they better or similar to fireline in casting and performance? P.s i heard non fused braid cast further than fused. Any recommandation on non fused braid?

Hey guys im thinking of respooling to a new braid as spring is coming. Im using this braid to cast at jetties. it is used for soft plastics and small metal lures such as 3g metal lure, pencils and squid jigs. braid in mind are the spiderwire 6lb or 8lb ultra cast or ultra cast invis. I was just wondering if the braid is fused or non fused braid. and any feedback on these braids are appreciated. thank you

is there any cost to this event and also, remember the soft plastic day, global tackle offered special deals to fish raiders. will there be anything like that in this event? P.S. it sounds like a very fun EVENT

i know your feeling dude. when i caught my first salmon, it jumped out of the water. it was really exciting.

today i went to my local tackle shop to buy a pencil to try it out to see how it is like. got a sugar minnow lipless. 50mm 4.8g and it is a sinking pencil. anyone know much about my pencil? just wondering what kind of techniques people use for their pencil and what have they caught consistantly with it? I have seen a photo of someone catching squid with it. thanks in advance

garfish? i would love to catch those for live bait. any techniques on catching it? i think 3inch might be a bit big because the bait fishes and prawns and that aint that big.

I been trying my soft plastics to catch fish for awhile now. Im trying to target whatever i can get. But i would like to catch trevelly, bream and sambo, the fighting type. I have caught a couple of sambo, but nothing else, wait i caught a numb ray the other day as well. I been using 3inch berkley plastic for a while. i was wondering if i am not doing well because my plastics are too big, 3inch is like 8 cm. Also what kinda fish can i get with plastics around port hacking landbased? thanks in advance
