with sunday being such a nice day with light wind i decded to head out for a quick flick, started fishing the incoming tide just walking the sure flickin around small gutters and weed beds, action was slow to start to off with then picked up all of a sudden bagging 3 whiting, 2 bream (just undersize) and a nice flatty, whiting were cought on gulp sandworm in camo and the bream and flatty on a white squidgy wrigler. all in all a nice way the end the week. fish only came on the bite as the wind picked up causin a bit of chop on the water

I remeber my first one (and only one!) it was small dowl surface thing.made to look like the smak skywalker. after throwing it around for a few hours it finialy got smashed only to have my hole lure stolen and only be left with the ring i tied my knot too! so use good glue lol i should try again soon it was the best feeling when i got a hook up on my own lure.

iv got the 6'6 in 2 to 4 kg and its great havnt had any trouble at all and for the price im not complainin nice rods without leaving a dint in your wallet

Iv alos been hooked on hardbodies of late. The main ones iv been using so far is a smilin jack (in pink lol), attack lure and halco scorpion. Being in the cheeper side of the market im not too worried about loosing them compaired to the ecogear. Which gave me alot more confidence with my casting around snaggy areas. Everytime i buy a new lure i give them a few cast in the shallows to watch how it swims. My normal retrieve is a slow constant retrieve with pauses ever metre or so with a few twitches for good messure. but most importantly have fun...and good luck!

lol great story im a postie so i know the feeling of waking up at 5 in the mornin goin wow i slept in today! im the same even if i didnt loose it il just tell myself that next trip i might need 2 or 3 any excuse to go the the tackle shop!

there was also heaps washed up at bundeena last week we went there for a snorkle but didnt due to the numbers. i hate them with a passion since i got eatin alive by them a few months ago!

the sandworms hey? iv herd mxed reports about them but im yet to try them. if you say so il give them a shot on the flats soon. they look like they would work but half the time the things that do look great never work! my 2" pseed grubs always seem to bring up the goods for me.

hi guy's long time reader first time post ( because i havnt had any luck to report on!) i recently brought myself a new stradic 2500 and been hangin to give it a go. so i picked up my gear with my girlfriend and went for a quick wading seson around kurnell. my luck on sp have been extreamly low for the past year but determination sky high! after i whiel i thought it was gonna be another day where i flick sp around with no fish to show for it. i was using the 2inch berkely gulp in pumkin seed around rock and weedy areas. i picked up a nice flatty of 45 cm a few min later again this time a touch smaller at 40cm. after a few mone min i picked up 2 more small flattys at this point i was over the moon untill a few min later when my fishing life changed! a nice bream of 33 cm ate my lure! after just over a year i finially reached my goal! now i just have to wait for the next one to come along! on that note i had to call it a day as i didnt want to reck what was a great day for just over an hour season. all fish were released aswell. i can see why people get hooked on lure fishing!
