Thanks guys, Eva and I had a great time fishing and if im not mistaken she even beat me...lol Due for a landbased jew session down there soon when the tides are alittle better. Hmmmmm....jews should be good.

Well the kids school holidays are on and my daughter Eva wanted to go fishing with dad the other day, as always tide was bad wind was up and so we decided on a landbased session on the cooks for a change. Well we arrived and a relaxing 9.30am and havent things changed..first the street i once parked was closed off...then i went and decided to park at one of my other spots...nope they changed it also.....but the did fix up the jetty that was run down before and alot more moared boats now. Anyway back to the session, for those that know the area we walked from there down river past the golf course where we scored 6 golf balls...thanks low tide and worked our way down to near Kyeemagh Boat Ramp. All in all a few small bream a good sized whitting and some lizards...but a good time with my little eva.

Ill second that been to both Phuket and phi phi island and they are lovely places but fished out. I even took a boat around the area and was disapointed about how many nets there are...alot of lovely small fish if you diving but in the way of big fish, go to fiji.

Nothing worse than loosing a jew thats for sure, wont be the first or the last. Gotta make time to do a landbased jew session down there again one day.

Guys im looking for a new sounder and have found this one HUMMINBIRD 788CI HD COMBO has anyone have one and what are your thoughts.

Use to thgink willyweather was the best till they got it wrong 3 wks ago and i was left fishing in 20knots and not as was suggested that morning at max 9knots. But how right can they actually be?

Thanks guys, we went to our usual hole for bream and had a fun time with the jew...only bad thing is we lost a bigger jew a few drifts latter...i recon 4lb might have been alittle to light...lol
