Went out today with Dave for a quick flick around on the parra using blades when dave catches this nice soapie. Well done mate took you for a good ride for awhile.

Hey Jason, How funny was it having 2 guys on the same flight, members of the same web site and im sure the wife went nuts with us 2 yamering on about fishing for countless hours. Mate feel free and send me an email im sure that it's avalible on the site and we can hook up for a bream session.

Greg they where not the first bass as ive been to the states before but i did get my first pike thingy.. As for which fish fights better the bass in the states i think may have the upper hand. We did chuck some spinnerbaits but they just didnt want them, a few taps and that was it.

Thanks guys and yes what a great view it was. Well worth the 1hr trip and after the rain in the morning the afternoon turned out great. Most bass where caught on sammy 65's but some also on plastics....also a freshwater pike was also caught but forgot the name of the fish.

Well just go back from the states a few days ago and thought id post a few pic's of some bass we caught...nothing big but alot of fun. Also my first time fishing in a boat with only a lecky and 2 batteries and some oars incase you used all the Battery power.

Thought i was reading the wrong post, trout gentlemen thats a change from snapper and marlin im sure and on fly aswell...you 2 always surprise me thats for sure.

3wks to go and then USA here i come.

Went out last week and it wasnt easy, got a few banito trolling around north head and small kingies around the wedding cakes. All early in the morning trolling rapals and using 6inch plastics for the kingies...we did get a few followers using topwater lures aswell. Id also try in the bay where luna park is as there where some good size taylor aswell.

Id say 25-30 bucks would be my limit, fished an ABT glenbawn round and need some TN50's the shop had themm but at a price.

Good to hear the place is fishing well. Great place for big squid 1hr before dark works well.
