  1. Hi Raiders Had a break from soccer duties so I thought I would ring a mate and see if he was interested in some R&R. Boat hitched on fresh bait on ice and we were off to try our luck after the bit of fresh water added to the water. Put the boat in at Parsley bay and headed for Juno point, nothing but sharks so decided to head off to dangar island for zip. Was approaching the end of the tide so motored up to the rail bridge for one last try. Baits in the water, a few nibbles but nothing actually taking the bait and running so persisted for a bit longer and Payday the first run was hard and fast with me nearly getting spooled as I was only using a bream rig, some 10 minutes later and happy days a nice Hawkesbury jew measuring 920mm long.

  6. Hi Raiders Went for an afternoon fish with my 11year old daughter on the hawkesbury on friday, The wind got up a bit but was still pleasant enough to drop a line. Started at the vines for a big donut then went to bar point for the run out tide, started slowly then all of a sudden the daughters line goes mad, line running off at a hundred miles an hour. This is the final result

  8. Started out early with a good mate and headed out to find some squid, for a big doughnut, caught some yakkas and headed outside hoping for some action.Started slowly but soon fired and before I know it my yakka gets smashed leading to at five minute fight before, BANG!, GOOOONE decided to drop in some smaller gear and two bream ( 37cm an a 39cm model) and a 42 cm snapper and all is good Wind picked up and all went quiet. My mate Matt caught the biggest rock cod I have ever seen and that was his day,Still a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. Regards Jim
