Going to try parra river this Saturday does any body know of any good Jew fish spots?

Thanks bud I'm keen on trying georges river soon but I don't know that river system to well, I mainly fish parra river But something about the georges seams apealing

Hi everybody, I've just scored and new boat for my self its a quintrex 385 with all the gear including an electric on the front,front and rear casting decks,kill tank and live bait tank. my main target are jew fish on sp's this winter, can any body help with some addvice as to what to look for and what paticular tide time i should be fishing?

Hey guys, i put my new diawa certate butted up to a smaki zecton phase11 ultra light through it paces this weekend. Head it out sunday morning to a land based spot up parra river, rigging up my outfit while im seeing all these kick ass skeeter boats wizz by i put on a 1/8 jigg head with a wasabi squdie wriggler slap on some sfactor and i was in the water quick smart. a couple of slow lifts and winds produce a 26cm black bream. Threw him back in and keept on working that jig away and hooked up its dad. five minutes later of tryin to keep this monster away from the plylons i managed to get him on the deck. i am f***ing wrapped.

Thanks for the tip matiee, be sure to try and hook one up soon. i've also heard of guys catching jews further down the river near puttny and cabirita, have you tried jew fish fishing down that way? and with the tide turn does it matter if its turning to the low or high side of it if so witch would be the better?

hi all, heading out to the harbour on sunday havnt been fishing there for a while , ive hired a bot for the day and am taking a mate and and his kids out, was wondering if anyone can tell me if the kingies are still around and roughly where they might be???? also a few just spots to flick sp's and lures around for flaties and what not.

hey bud, was there in november with the wife the fishing was good we hooked up 50cm pinkies around the ship wreaks aswell as trevally, heaps of flounder too. we started of by hiring the tinnes there its like $50 for two hours and their only a 4.5hp so it does take a wile to get were you wanna go in those things but you can pretty much fish were ever you like except around were the dolpins come in at night. its a good thing your taking your gear up with ya cause what they have for hire there is childs play, also watch out for flatties washing up on the beach and finding their way back in its unreal to see.

oh ok i thought that they were pretty much the same as gulps, ill have to get some of those in my sp selection. i'm a massive fan of s factor aswell i put that on hard bodies to vibes the suff's awsome.... How agressive is your retrive when breaming, do you stick a slow wind and drop sort of thing or a wip wip retrive as you would for 'flats'

Yeah they were feeding on the side of the jetty with there heads out of water and were not intrested in anything i sent their way.

thanks for the advice mick, not a big fan of the gulp sp's but i'll give them ago. i was using squdies blood red wriggler in the pro series range with a 1/8th jig head and also switched to four pound trace and had no luck. but ill try the gulps and see how they go.

Hi everybody, Went fishing this morning up the parra river and found a patch of bream feeding of the side of the jetty in clear sight, so I threw everything I had at them and they did not strike at anything.. From resin jig heads with flick baits to sp.'s to lures to vibes nothing work can somebody ahead some light on this sitcho....

eaither side really, and that would be great if you could send those details my way. Also do you know of any good squiding spots along the river also. cheers bud....
