  5. Hi guys....i am just wondering what is best for the BTR 4500B Braided or Mono??? I am using 15 Mono atm, thinking of changing to Braided line, what are your thoughts??? Cheers
  6. I found the Shimano BTR 4500B is a bit heavy for my liking...that's why i was thinking of selling it now. BTW as i said previously i got 2X 6-10KG 7 ft rod, one the tip is really whippy another is quite stiff, out of the 2 which one is suitable for Snapper??? Cheers
  7. Hi folks, I got 2X 6-10KG Snapper rod...just wondering what size reel is good for it??? Cheers
  8. Hi folks, Just wondering what is everyone using for Snapper??? knots, rigs, leader??? I am running 15lb Mono Daiwa Sealine atm, i am going to join a leader (20lb Penn Leader), but don't know what length is best???? Cheers
  9. Hi folks, I would like to know what is everyone using to tie their knots from leader to HB or Jighead??? Currently i use UNI to UNI to connect my main line to leader. Cheers
  10. For Beach or surf fishing how many meters of line do you really need??? I was thinking of putting Braided line to my Shimano BTR 4500B, but change my mind and i am using 15LB Mono from Daiwa Sealine, just wondering would that be enough??? At the moment i think it's around 300 meters, should i change it to 20LB Mono??? Cheers
  11. Hi folks, I own the above 2 reels, can someone in here recommend me a good rods to match them with, i want to spend around $100 each, mainly use for river fishing, chasing Carp, Salmon, Tevally, ect.... Cheers

  13. Hi folks, Just need some feebacks on the following 2 reels, i am planning for river use, targetting bream, carp, trevally, salmon ect.... Cheers BTW both reels price are similar!
  14. Hi folks, I am still looking for a decent 13 ft rod for surf casting on the beach. Why 13 ft??? Just want a bit more cast distance that's all, i was thinking of the Silstar Surf Cast 13 ft rod, BUT don't know whether that's a good choice or are there any better rod around the same price?? I be using it with my Shimano BTR4500B and future Symetre 4000 or Daiwa Exceler 4000. Still haven't had a chance to see the new Daiwa reel as yet, hopefully i get myself some spare time to check it out this weekend . BWT ***** got 30% off all rod and reels, are they any good ?? if so which brand and models, most importantly i want Graphite rods instead of Fiber glass. Cheers
