dont bother with pillies go a whole squid the size of your hand on a 2 hook rig jews hit hard so leave the drag loose if the rod is unattended. i get yackas, herring, and the odd slimie at putney so you should get them at roseville. you will catch 10 undersized tailor for every yacka though.

sps are always a long shot for jew. you might want to chuck out a live yacka or squid (or even frozen squid) while you flick, you might have more luck that way

even if you arnt looking at new. check out the sydney boat show which isnt to far away. give you ideas at the very least!!

I have used Pelagic Bluewater fishing Melaluka and have had no dramas, i only go the expensive stuff for light weight plastics or lures, cause you run into problems with the cheap stuff. but for heavier live baiting which is 90% of my fishing, the ebay stuff is the go. you can save up to 80%

I know this has been asked before but i cant find the post. I'm in the market for a car GPS system. I know nothing about them. But want one that; talks to me has 3D display can show petrol stations ect Is there a unit that could also be used on the boat as well as car? Obviously im looking for the cheapest best value option! and im not adverse to buying on ebay. Any brand/model suggestions would be apreciated. Cheers

in any bay or near any structure burley is the key. i use bread and old pillies. having a burley bucket on the boat makes all the difference
