Correct. The IFS cruisers (100s up) have a 5 stud, but everything else is 6. You also won't fit 14's on them anyway because the rims won't go over the brake calipers...
  2. Winnie bay isn't worth the effort... Massive walk in, bigger walk out, and usually you get down there and it's packed. It's the exact same water and fishing at Avoca too. I've dived both and the underwater formation is better at Avoca. Lots of pinnacles and caves. Much easier getting to Avoca but just get down there by 5am or so. There was no decent fish reported at Winnie this year either, but 2 big Spanish macks, 8 hood kings, a day of Long tails (just whizzed through in one day and went north), snapper have been there all year and pigs and groper through winter. All at Avoca. And all confirmed. Lots of cars broken into and violent idiots at Winnie too. Just all not worth the hassle.....
  3. Yep, it's on that ep too. I taped it to the HDD 12+ months ago, but am yet to get a tuna (besides dirty macks ) to try it out!
  4. Yeah, awesome fish. I too am wondering if they fight, and how they taste! Don't really know anything about them...

Don't quote me on this, but I didn't think you could, as all landcruisers came with 15" or up. Hilux's and patrols have the same stud pattern, but different offset, and they too had a minimum 15". 2wd Hilux's have a 14", but they're a 5-stud, not a 6-stud. I could be wrong though......
  6. Not a great deal going on, all the charters are struggling and haven't heard any good reports for a few weeks. A few just legal kings, after hours of searching, and that's been about it. Good luck anyway.
  7. Pike are a better bait anyway. i would have been happy using them all day!
