Hi everyone, Went again fishing to my spot neare mortlake last night but before I improved my rigs after I got bitten off or snapped heaving big bites or runs, improved I mean I put 30lb leader not 12lb anymore (main line still 10lb) So like always fresh hawkesbury river squid but this time whole big one thinking big bait = big fish after couple of hours of relaxation with no bites go this nice zzzzzzzzz Once I took the rod in to my hands I could feel it's bigger one from what I'm getting ussualy 93cm I'm still waiting to go over 1m but I'm really happy with this one which went back to the river to live longer and grow bigger

  13. hi everyone, Today after work arround 3pm went out in my spindrift fishing. On the way to my spot, I trolled to get some tailor to use as live bait. I kept couple. I got to my spot , cast one rod with live bait and one with fresh squid. Two hours of relaxing time, i think i had a half hour nap, no action. At about 4.45pm I was about to pack up but this is the moment when the magic happens, my rod with the live bait start to scream counting to ten to make sure bait is swallowed and stike, fish on! Such a great feeling, something big on the end of the line, i couldnt stop the fish for a while, big weight on the end, keep taking my line, here im getting stress of being spooled, more drag, risk of being snapped, but fish get tired and im slowy making progress, 15-20 minutes later i see the shape (all is happening next to car ferry Breakfast Point). Stingray, weight 15kg! Such a beautifull creature, unhooked and released. i will upload the pictures when i get to a computer. line 20lbs with 30lbs leader

  16. Hi everyone, I think Im getting a bit obsessed with the mulloway. So I planned everything and went at night tuesday/wednesday 2.30am on my boat to my fvored jew spot, I think the timing was almost perfect, I get there ealier to get ready, top tide was after 5am, still dark, full monn in few days, the freshest possible bait, from fishmarket plus i cot my own bait to make sure it is really fresh. I was verry exited abbout all of this and what happened? Nothing, I had 4 baits in 12h of fishing, betwin the tides I was trolling, I have tryed soft plastics and nothing :/ I have got preatty nice day on the water but not even one fish, is it because water temp dropped? this day water temp was abbout 16 degrees which is much lower than even couple days before. Im not going to gave up but I thing this is first time when spent 12h on the water and didnt catch anything, Im not counting two blue sweemer crabs Does enyone know what is going on? Many thanks, Adam
