  1. Thanks. I will always watch out the water as I still enjoy my life and the truth is I cant swim . Wanted to try Merewether the rockpool but that area looks scary to me seeing the swell bang bang directly your side !!! It's said groper and drummer are best catch there with cunje but you need to be paitent. must be low tide or there's no change to cross the rockplatform.
  2. Really ??? I dont see much people fishing there, only too many walking exercise whole day ( everyone like keeping fit
  3. Thank heaps. This's my 1st catch here and Im so excited.
  4. Wanted to go Norah Head but the weather seemed gloomy so I went to Nobby this morning. Just half an hour since tide changed my rod started shaking! Must be a big one as it's trying to pull me toward the water. After 5mins here came the handsome guy. Going home afterward and thinking abt fish'n'chips.
  5. Hi all, Kristine is my name. I just moved to Oz 3yrs from Vietnam. English isn't my 1st language so if I typo hope you still get what I mean. I'm new to this site as well as fishing so I'm very shy to speak up. Never been fishing before ...just hang around with friends lately and really enjoy the moment you lift the fish out of water, just like in heaven . This site help improving my skill a lot better. I live in Mayfield, go fishing at nobbys breakwall but my fav location is Avoca . I wish to learn more as I still make many mistakes. Thanks for building a greatful website. Kristine
  6. If you have more time, go up north, there will be plenty of cunje along the north coast. You can mix them with sugar and salt, freeze them and they will last for a month. I don't use cunje as those pickers will take it before groper n drummer see it. Cooked prawns work well in my area, Nobby Head.
  7. Have you ever try Nobby breakwall? The harbour side provides heaps of big blackfishes and drummers.
