  1. That thing is gonna make a mess of our waters
  2. Gymea Bay Baths if probably one of my fav spots. Been there a few times before it closed, mainly at night. Managed my PB silver trevally 57cm a few weeks ago. I've had good and bad sessions but the place is not as good as it used to be but then again summer always does produce much better fish in that spot. It gets pretty packed now and I see people taking alot of undersized fish . -N11
  3. Hi Gaffing, Sorry about the late reply, but I thought I'd post this anyway. I'm currently using a Abu Veritas 1-3kg rod with Abu Soron STX20. This reel has a great drag system that allows you to catch those bigger bream on lighter line! It isn't the the lightest of reels if you're out jigging all day but it has exceptional build quality. I'm also using Berkley Nanofil line with this combo which has increased my casting range and accuracy (especially with very light lures.) Not very expensive and really great gear. All up cost was around $300 for rod, reel and line. Regards, N11
  4. Awesome report mate! Looks like it was a great feed! ~N~
  5. I usually check the Manly Hydraulics Laboratory page. Lots of real time data including wave heights and water temps. http://mhl.nsw.gov.au/data/tide_data_baro.htmlx ~N~
  6. Great catch champ! It did seem a little slow that day. Managed to catch 2 bream 27 and 29 along with a few flatties. Saw quite a few dolphins in the bay earlier in the morning too. We also saw that water spout....freaky man. Thanks for the report. Post #1 - joy
