I use 25 pound Maxima in my ABU 7000LD BG on my 11ft daiwa turbomax surf rod and it casts and lasts like a dream...couldnt ask for any better..highly recommend it.

I have used those little yabbie soft plastics, they look awsome but i havent had any luck on them....I forget what brand they are...they are some weird funky looking brand in a yellow packet....

Well i just bought my first ever spool of braid on the weekend (6LB green fireline), i have finally made the transition from mono, and can i just say it is probably the best investment for my tackle i have ever made, i cant beleive i didnt buy this earlier!!! i only use overhead baitcasters and this braid stuff it just beautiful for casting the lightest of lures....amazing stuff

well done!! i cant wait to hear what bait, rigs, and tides you were fishing with (thats if youll let this information leak lol) bloody amazing looking fish, i love the chrome silver colour of them, How do you go about cooking them? they look good for cutting into small sections and beer battering..

DO NOT use inox, inox is a form of degreaser and will remove all greese and oil from your reel

nice im heading to the station resort for a week on july 16 i cant wait to throw some lures around on the lake. has anyone else got any tips on lures to use in the lake?
