    We go with boat to WB . If you looking for land based you can try at Illawong Bay before sunset 1hour or high tides . There have a lot people , you should go before sunset 2hours . Then you can get a better spot . Good Luck ...

    Last night is my 2nd trip for this year to WB around 6pm . On that time weather is good , but quite cold . using my Pflueger Trion rod 7ft , 1 piece and Daiwa Caldia reel 2506 with 6lb Berkley mainline & big pilchard as bait. From 6.40pm , within 20min , 8 bite , pulled the line very powerful is UNBELIEVABLE . Finally I hooked up 5 Monster Hairtail . My best friend hooked up 8 Monster Hairtail at the same time . This year the Monster Hairtail really difficult to get hooked . It's not bad for me , because my first trip for this year is get nothing . Happy fishing guys ....

  3. Hi Everyone

    Coming 9th of March is my 2nd trip in Lake Illawarra , plan for 3 days 2 nights fishing trip . I hooked up at in front of the Lorikeet holiday park jetty near by the bridge , 1 x 1.3kg Yellow-fin Bream & 1 x Monster Ray almost 9kg at last month . Anyone mind to share any best land based spot @ Lake Illawara ??? I'm looking for Bream , Flat or whiting .... Thanks !
