Last weekend I used 8lb braid and a wire trace, no problems with Leather jackets! Meanwhile, my mate tried at 60lb mono trace and they bit off the trace and main line. He spent most of the time rigging.

Yeah, your right.
I was out at Port Hacking on Sunday, the water was warm but the air was freezing. So much so this created a mist at day break. Nice to watch but cold!
We caught a 40cm snapper, a beauty!
