What's the best way to store your catch when beach fishing I usually bleed straight away and put head first in dug hole then into a a bucket it is to much hassle to cart an esky down the beach , does any one have any other ideas

Filleted and skinned and dice up and cooked In a green curry sauce with beans and broccoli bit of rice . Tasted bloody good can't wait to catch a few more and try my hand at some other ways of cooking them that I've seen in the recipes forum on here

Got up this morning To go for a fish at greenhills jut north of Cronulla beach awsome weather and calm seas ,arrived and fished 1 hour before the 1030 high tide and 1 hour after the high tide , using my alvey beach combo with a gang hook setup using pilchards, in in the first hour I caught a couple of small aussie salmon that I threw back , the. Just after the high tide hit I got a nice large salmon 57cm and it was a good little battle I fished a bit more and was thinking about heading home then the guy next to me pulled in a big salmon straight away I threw a fresh pilli out and as soon as it hit the water BAM it was taken and I was on a fish for a good battle this fish took a bit more skill to bring In and was a good fighter kept fighting all the was through to the shore even in a couple cm of water it was another salmon it measured just over 60 cm after that it was time to go home I was in need of a strong Coffee ,

with this heavy rain would it be right to say that the fishing would be better at the mouth of botaney bay ? of the rocks in the national park at kurnell ? what about the beaches how are they affected for fishing with heavy rain ?

im close to wanda if you wana let me no when your going and i could come for a fish depending on my work roster

Wanda is safe for the kids and easy access garie is a bit further drive though the national park bit more isolated no phone reception down there , I have caught good size aussie salmon at Wanda last winter I am just getting ready to get back out there this winter

Thanks didn't no that I'm originally from far north QLD and we used to cast net all the time for livies

I live in Cronulla I want to get some live bait for beach fishing is there any where around here that you can collect livies either cast netting or jigging , I am restricted to land based Any help would be appreciated thanks

just joined the site and this is my first post, i fish around cronulla along the beaches and have alvey beach rod setup and usally fish pillies, have caught a couple of aussie salmon but am looking at targeting other species but as i am a bit inexperieced would like if any one could give me some tips and pointers for beachfishing around this area
