Hi Huey the Gamin 750s is on sale at a majour boating camping outlet for $1299 including transducer but I'm still confused as to what I want think ill just stick with my old sounder for now fitting a new Bimini so sounder might be on hold. I don't like buying from those majour outlets as they don't seem to care about there customers so I will certainly contact you when I'm sure of what I want so I don't waste your time thanks.

Seen this at the boat ramp a couple of months ago I forgot to post it. Apparently the guys forgot the bungs they got out past bass point and then realised when it was too late and had to call for help.

I'm thinking of buying the Garmin 750s or the HDS7. Has any one had any experience with the garmin 750s? I'm treating buying this new sounder very serious as I want to get the best I can for a budget of around $1300. Any help would be great I've played with both and to me the garmin feels easier to operate.

I would get it looked at professionally the new motor wouldn't be heavier than the older motor even though its got bigger horse power and 150hp should be fine my 18ft boat is rated to a 150hp.

Hi just wondering if anyone could tell me roughly how long it would take me to get to the car park from nelson bay ill be in a 5.5m glass boat 115hp 2 stroke. I know there could be heaps depending on condition's but just an average time would be great. And is it too far for a vessel my size?

Thanks mate I purchased it knowing it was like that. Got it dirt cheap and my dads been fibreglassing for 35 years so I knew it wouldn't be an issue to get it all fixed up.

Spent half the day working on the boat with the old man. Pulled out the cabin floor due to some minor rot and also pulled the windscreen off as the dash has no gel coat left and cracks all over it. We are going to repair the floor first and then tend to the dash. I cant wait to see it finished!!!

Hit the river today with the old man got on the water at 1130am to fish the remaining run out tide I dont usally go fishing that late in the day but work got in the way! We ended up landing 20 flathead between the two of us but only 6 were legal and the biggest was 43cm.... Still had a blast though especially unloading and loading the boat since my old man forgot the winch handle.......

I always use that retrieve myself and i only end up with flathead i just cant crack the Bream on plastic's??!!??

Launched the boat today at about 6am heading out to collect some bait so we done a couple of passes of bass point and only managed a salmon.... So we headed to our snapper spot and gave it a try but the water was so cold all we managed was a barracuda. By now it was 9am so we put out a spread and headed back around the point on the way I noticed fish busting up so we trawled around them and managed to hook up on my TLD 25 it put up a decent fight and it was a 4kg stripie it was so fat we only managed to get one more I think our lures were to large only 130mm but they were feeding on much smaller fish.
