Hey kev your rod may be to heavy for what you're targeting. I have a Siena 2500 on a 2-4 kg berkely drop shot. Also your braid and leader might be a bit heavy, maybe consider 4pound braid with 2 pound leader for targeting bream etc? These are just my two cents then again I'm no expert and I'm sure other people will help you out on this forum.
Cheers Joseph.

I was just about to say before I read your report I swear I have seen this picture before lol. They all do look very similar
-
i assume they're all around north entrance side. no monsters probably most just legal

hi raiders,
Heading up to the entrance and terrigal this week coming for one week. Wondering if anyone has any info on how terrigal lagoon and the entrance (tuggerah lake) has been producing lately. I will be fishing land based using soft plastics to target flatties, bream and maybe also give the live worms a go to catch whiting. All fish will be released.
cheers

Nice flatty! Did it measure up to around 65 cm?
-
Not a bad session mate! Had a go last week in Hawthorne canal for one 40cm flatty. Might go this arvo to target bream on plastics. Does anyone know whether the run in or run out is better for bream at iron cove?

Those are also great links! Does any one know where we can watch full abt episodes and series online?

It sucks how you have to pay and become a member to use this link now -.-

At the end of Louisa rd in birchgrove there is a park. Seen kingfish been caught there

I use the same jig heads and even 8 pound leader and still can't crack it. Guess i'll keep trying harder!
-
I just started using the z man grubs and am pretty happy with it. I can catch flathead but not bream with them. May I ask what size leader and jig head your using?
-
It's already on YouTube I just watched it. Type in reel it in- how to catch big ducky flathead
-
How big did the flatty go mate?
-
Not safe to eat due to the toxins in soil and sand
-
Great report tom! Used zmans today for the first time, first cast on a 3inch minnow resulted in a legal flattie! Great soft plastic
-
Awesome flattie mate! I'm trying my luck out at kogarah bay tomorrow morning hopefully they come out to play!
-
Has the video been put up yet?
-
great size fish for the georges!
-
Awesome report mate.
You seem to know the area pretty well. Keep it up!
-
Agreed. More fisheries need to patrol the lake land based and on the water especially around the summer holidays. People just don't understand the size limits and regulations put into place.

Hi raiders,
Just wondering has anyone been to kogarah bay recently? I've been eager to go as the water temps have risen now although the wind keeps on colliding with when I'm available to fish. Any information would be appreciated!
-
Awesone report with good detail. I'll be heading up that way in 3 weeks time.

Things are really hotting up in MH! I've always loved my baitfishing but you do get that bit more satisfaction when they're on lure!
Landbased mate. Havent used the yak in a few weeks but hopefully soon! Might go for some kings from it
nice! never knew you could fish that close to the net enclosure. every time i try there's people swimming around that area so have to move a bit further up
-
nice session tom! were you in the yak or land based?

I recently purchased a shimano stradic 4000 fj with a 6-8 kg shimano Sahara outfit. I have not used it yet but bcf has a deal for Xmas all that for $249. Might be something worth looking in too
