  1. second that, not enough fisheries and too many idiots, who seem to be growing in numbers
  2. Fished Juno Point on Sat night, did all the hard yards in the arvo with a vast array of live baits, yellow tail, tailor and squid. Got to Juno an hour before sunset and fished until 1am for nothing. Im sure all the bait shop owners put up false reports so everyone will get out there......
  3. Hey Netic, thats a 'fully sic' tuna you have there
  4. Nice call netic, What are you on about Ilk fish!!!! You are way out of line I suggest 'you go to your room' and come out when you’ve decided to grow up.
  5. Well done on the catch, The trevs have been a bit random over the past 6 weeks in Pittwater, cant seem to put my finger on it, whethere its moon, water temp, tide, time of day etc They just seem to show up when you dont expect them, but hey soemtimes the hard work doesnt pay off.
  6. Good effort on the trev's, They have been hot and cold at the third runway lately. What tides were you fishing?
  7. Top stuff mate, Wish I could fish Monday's!!! Well actually, wish I could fish everyday!!!!
  8. Cheers for all the kind words, I was surprised with the blue-swimmers as they were all caught on large Jew baits that were on the bottom.
  9. Hit the Bay early Sat morning at 4.30am to try for a Jew, managed to get some livies but they weren’t in their usual numbers. No luck on the Jew front and only managed small snapper at the trevally alley. Saw what looked like a whale tail over towards La Perose and headed over for a closer inspection, one large Humpback Whale mucking around inside the bay!! He/she looked fairly happy but may have been a bit confused/sick due to the locality. The conditions looked ok outside so decided to run some lures up the coast, the swell was pounding in but the wind was offshore and light. Trolled all the way up to Coogee for nothing, tried a couple off reefs up that way for nothing. Decided to head back to the 3rd runway for the incoming tide, things were getting drastic as we had an empty bag and it was already 1pm. Burleyed up hard and manage 5 keeper flatties and 5 blue-swimmer crabs. A tough day but managed a top feed. Sorry about the lack of photos but camera decided to die on Friday, will have to replace for tis weekend.
  10. Cheers, Heres a taste of what NZ has to offer, land based snapper
  11. Hello Raiders, Yep im another new member, been reading posts for a while now and feel it's about time to contribute. Spent most of my fishing life in NZ with plenty of success. Im the lucky owner of a 4.5m quintrex fish'a'bout (1979), does the job but def not an outside boat. I frequent Botany Bay and sometimes Sydney Harbour, my Jew fish cherry has been broken but its a whole different world over here. Fishing is tough and requires persistence. Hopefully I can add some posts and help some other Raiders out, as I would have been lost without the tips I have received from this site. If you see an old quinny with an old suzuki on the back, come over and say hi....
