wow good catch there. Always wanted to catch a dollies but neve had a chance since i dont have a boat i apologise for my ignorant but where is south west rock? How far is it from sydney? well being a foreigner is an disadvantage in the forum since i dunno wat u guys were talking about most of the time but it's the best fishing forum nevertheless.

i used to fish molineuex wall evry weekend and yes it look steep but pretty easy for me to climb down. in fact as i get used to it i started to climb down (half running) the man made rock easily. it's been 2 yrs since i fish over there and i dunno if u r allowed to fish over there at night since there is a sign (trespasser will be prosecuted). people used to ignore it and climb up the fence.........dunno about now though if anyone know please inform me coz i would like to fish there again....... it's a top fishing spot in my opinion

i caught one b4 from the molineux breakwall and my mate decided to try to cook it. that was the worst decision he ever made coz it taste REALLY awfull (bitter) YUCKKKKKS........ i will never eat it ever again NEVEEERRR

since we r talking about braid, does anyone know wat is the difference between braid and dacron braid? there seems to be different type of braid out there. cheers

thanks for the suggestion guys jewnut i tried to search for shimano tsmlV but could not find one in ebay At the moment, after doing some research through the internet, i am leaning toward daiwa saltist and shimano torium. the reason i want an overhead reel is because i alrdy own a spinning real and a good one as well, so baitrunner 6500 is out

i dont think i am going to troll a lot i will do mostly land based fishing (so i need to cast) and occasional boat fishing

is that the 2 metal that guide the line and is moving left to right or vice versa as u retrieve the line? am i right?

just need general reel for like snapper, jewfish, mahi2 and maybe some tuna and can be used for land based and boat (asking too much am i? ) cheers oh btw wat do u mean by level wind? does that mean it can't be used for casting? sorry if i ask stupid question me really2 amateur

anyone have any suggestion as to what reel i should be buying? i am looking for reel that can be used for casting, trolling and can hold a resonable length of line i normally use the normal spinning reel and really have no idea about any trolling reel so any suggestion will be appreciated . cheers
