A great night was had by all, and I was just happy to be there when a beatiful fish like this got landed. For those interested in the finer detail, ie rig, weather etc here goes. i will be more interested on where you fish mate heheheh but that is a thumper fish and i will be happy if i witness someone catching jewfish that size

well unfortunately i dont know who the guy is but i know those are two damn bloody humongous jewfish that i need to be catching!!! arghhhhhhh That place where the jewfish is caught is known as Earth. It's caught in the earth's part where there is water bait used must be jewfish of the opposite sex, naked. i am drunk with envy and i dont know what i am talking about cheers

just as danilo said, go to the end of the wall and when retrieving your line try to get your rig up the surface before it hit the snag around the wall cheers

i use 8ft rod and 10-15lb line. I never use heavy gear when fishing yarra bay and as for bait, prawn and pilchard will do the job. When targeting tailor use a float and ganged hook

nice catch mate, i use to fish on the wall in yarra bay and caught a mixed bag of bream, snapper, tailor, flathead and the occasional sting ray

well dont always believe the magazine because what they are saying might not always be true. I sell computers and i know that some of the brand paid the magazine to do a review on their product and rush customer to get it

Have a read on the fishingmonthly website and boy these people really know how to cast..... some of them get casting distance of like 200+m did not even think this was possible before reading it
