I'm feeling much better today!!! Got out this morning for about 3 hrs in the bay. Water was very tannin and could only manage a few bait fish but oh how good did it feel to get te rods wet!!!
Cheers scratchie!!!
Haven't heard of many reports of jewfish in the Hawkesbury lately. But I'm sure they are there somewhere. Just work the tide changes, also the bridges are worth a mention. Good luck!!

The technology just isn't quite there yet! I've been talked out of it by a low&@$(e rep and he said wait about a year or so!!! They are pretty much useless when stationary as the bounce off their own sonar which renders them useless! This is what I've been told.
Good luck deciding..... Cheers scratchie!!!
Hey mike2153,
If you end up finding something that's good, let me know and I'll try the same. I'm looking for work now and that would be right up my alley!
Cheers scratchie!!!
Just thought I'd throw in my 2 bob worth. Ban sailing vessels full stop! If they are to close to me, it's time to drop anchor. Sorry if their boat is in my way as I throw it!
Cheers scratchie!!!
Obviously we fish in different areas. I'm not worried about a bit of rain but the 50km+ winds are a joke!!!
Good on ya for the blackies you caught. I only wish I could get out!
Cheers scratchie!!!
Hi raiders, the topic says it all. For someone like me that is blessed to be able to fish at least twice a week, I'm having withdrawals.
Anyone else feel the same??
Cheers scratchie!!!
I'm not an expert but I was told that the dsi technology is not really good unless the boat is in motion and not at pace. If you are anchored it, bounces off its own sonar which renders it useless. I was told to wait about 2yrs while they work on the technology.
Cheers scratchie!!!
Good work johno!!! I'd be rapped too if I hooked onto a beakie!!! And I agree, yeah sure it wold be great to land it but targeting it, hearing the rod scream off and watching it jump would be just as exciting!!!
Cheers scratchie!!!
