I have heard the same thing. Yet I have used live whiting on heaps of occasions and have never caught a thing! I even had one out there when I caught a big Jew but it took my servo squid!!! So for me I tend to use live yakkas, slimed or tailor! Cheers scratchie!!!

I just bought the tyrnos50 spooled with 700m of 24kg for $400. Think I did ok? Used same set up the other week and was a great setup. Had to have one. Can't wait to use my own this weekend! Cheers scratchie!!! -

I recommend a shimano tyrnos 50L2. Just bought one fully spooled for $400. Will hold anything for kings to marlin. Just my 2 bobs worth. Cheers scratchie!!!
