hi all! if your ever out leeton...gundagai (dog on the tuckerbox) way, you will notice and be told. i have fished there a few times and the carp walk on each others back sometimes(rampant) and there has been obliteration of natives!......i was a young bloke of about 10 and the inlaws fed us carp from dawn to dusk by the end of the week i almost stole the dog food!..ALMOST!.. but seriously keep on carpin for your fun!........but they are cane toads of the deep and not so deep! ..cheers!..stevo!.. a downrigger is a unit to get your bait of choice to the bottom, (like a big hand reel) where the fish are. when you get a strike your bait releases from the outrigger, then you frantically bring up the down rigger and fight the fish on your rod & reel, thats a quick quote but there are some legends on here and they will run you thru it properly! ..cheers!..stevo!..
