  1. hi raiders! thanks for a cool introduction, and a great day , NO FISH for me, but whats new, i like how you think and work!!! got back to tunks, and cleaned mates fish, ? then had a beer with old mate, hit the F3

at 4.40pm only to find it was burning so i ran a scary gauntlet #$%^ pants and was one of only big handful

that got thru before it closed! thanks! i will sleep well tonighZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

  2. hi raiders! count me in with boat+deckie, also have a spot for a king pro to help me & mate catch our first non-rat king...cheers!..stevo!..

also i am coming down from the c/coast, which is closest ramp to clifton as ive never done the harbour? any fees?

  3. Thats OK. My most recent and productive trout fishing sessions are with mudeyes from the shore (even thoughI towed my boat 600km). My newfound form of fishing has become somewhat addictive. To land a 3kg brown on 2kg mono and a size 14 hook is just awesome.

    sounds very cool! trout YUM!

  4. Greetings Fishos

I live along the Georges River and often see schools of potty mullets swiming in the creeks that feed into the Georges. I purchased a few plastic see through traps the other week and have been leaving them in the local creeks all week , with bread in the traps.

I have thus far caught zip.

Has anyone out there had luck in catching this great bait ? and if so how ? Also, what is the best way to keep them alive ?

P.S. Best luck over the weekend fellas.

hi veck! use rectangle collapsable trap and place in the water only as deep as the trap itself!

use wet fresh bread squashed in a ball and i mean squish it, place in trap and lift it up and down

a few times this will leave a milky dispersion which will excite poddy but not feed em, they need

to get inside if they want a feed..freeloaders.. but they are the best!

    ..cheers!..stevo!..

  5. Thanks roberta

I love my trout but the snowy is just so dam far to travel.

I might look at Lake Lyel then.

hi! lake lyall is not bad. but pretty shallow in lots of places, obviously rainbows dont like the shallows

better in a boat if possible! use gold bottom, orange top, with the black stripes (tassie devils)

let em sink several mtrs, they love em! season starts mid oct! i think!
