  1. We have a shakespeare tidewater.... got 2 for just over 300 dollars. There are good rods, can handle up to 20kg line class, so a good tough rod. They work well for Dad and I.

  2. Well i thought i would let it go, give other anglers a chance to have a run at it.

Caught it on a peeled prawn 1/0 hook on 6lb gear whilst chasing marlin.

  3. Hi everyone,

We have a spot on Sunday. If you want to come along, please leave contact details or Pm me....

Dad and I will leave at 4.30 at Roseville, targeting kings. Boat is a 4.8 metre Savage, with downrigger, berley, sounder ect. Another passenger will be picked up at around 9 o clock from Rose Bay (however we need someone at the ramp helping)!

Hope to see some replies or Pms soon :1prop: !

I met a fellow fisho at the airport (sydney) on the way back from brisbane, and he had taken a 22 pound kingfish of the rocks at Maroubra.

But all the other rock fisho's i personally know generally head to whale beach or north head. Whale beach is generally pretty safe, although it is a bit of a trek.

Where we live we have a great little drummer spot (Freshwater Beach) that is fantastic, on the right weather and tide a bag limit can be reached in 45 mins.

    Good luck :bump0ee:
