  1. Hi Clutch,

I thought about that but wher do I add the zero to. To the start of the seconds or the end.

I'm really confussed, but i think you are right on the money with that idea.

    Thanks

    Cheers

  2. With my new sounder i decided to punch in some GPS cords for my trip away. I have now stumbled accross a problem, but i think its more closer to the fact that i'm stupid than any thing else.

I have no problems entering the gps cords as follows -

    28.35.052 S 153.38.283 E, but how do i enter in the following cords -

    32.45.03 S 152.12.56 E

The seconds are only 2 digits in the second mark and 3 digits in the first.

How do I enter them in with only 2 digits in the seconds part of the mark.

    Cheers

  3. Nah haven't got fox. Is it series 5 do you know??

I knew Steve and Ryan were doing alot of fishing up north and I hear there will be some awsome episodes coming very very soon.

If you want some of the DVD's let me know and I will give Steve or Ryan a call ( the hosts of the show ) and see what I can arrange.

Almost got the boat ready for some bait action. After Port Stephrns trailboat comp we will head off to botany if you want?

  4. Well I went out tonight fishing for some bass and ep's. Launched just before 7pm and headed down to do some trolling to try to raise some bass and ep's. Only caught some smallish bass so we tried trolling a little further up river.

Well just on dusk, when its normally good bassin I got this almighty hit and hooked up straight away. It was a real struggle to land the fish and our hopes were high for a big bass. As the fish neared the boat it took off with some serious speed. We knew if this was a bass it was over the 50cm mark and would be an awesome capture around the local Windsor area. As the fish neared the boat for about the third time we got a glimpse of the fish. No not a bass or an ep but a big flattie and in awesome condition. Took some snaps and sent him on his way.

All in all a good night luring and some good fish were raised.

    Cheers

  6. Attatch a hose to the end of the pickup. Turn the hose on to see if it fills the livewell up. if it is doing so then turn on the pump. There may be heaps of air and some bilge pumps struggle with an air lock.

Also as Jo said face the pickup down into the water and also cut the pickup on a 45 degree angle as this will help force feed the tank.

  7. I have both but the only shimano reels I have are a 3500 baitrunner and a small baitcaster. The rest are mostly Daiwa.

I think that Daiwa make better reels and I have the 6500gt Saltiga and it is an awsome peice of machinery, but its the engineering of all Daiwa reels that makes me keep buying them. Very smooth and very solid construction.

  8. Hi all,

I need a C-Map before I go to Port Stephens for the trailerboat classic and the price variation is unbeleivable for them.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as I am after a map that will include sydney to coffs and also south of sydney to the gong.

  9. hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help me out with this little problem.

Since I have 2 battery's for the 24v minn kota, i have been charging hte battery's one at a time.

Can someone help me with a better alternative.

Is there anyway I can charge the 24v system off the 12 v system with no chance of any issues due to the different voltage systems and is it a cost effective way compared to manually charging the battery's??

Or an easier way to charge the battery's.

    Cheers

  10. Thanks to lee for having me on board once again.

    Any time mate.

Congrats to all the winners and for me it was a first on the hacking and I was very impressed. Unfortunatly I did not land a bream so I scored an impressive doughnut :1prop: Still this bad patch of no bream on sp's is lasting considerably longer than I thought. Hopefully the drought will be broken soon :1badmood:

  11. Yeah I was in there on thursday and the staff didn't seem to happy about it being shut down.

There is also a nice 130w tiagra and a custom 37kg full rolled miller t curve stick there for 30% off. You save about a $1000 if anyone is interested in it?

  12. Well I went out fishing with Mitch on the weekend and I let him drive the boat off the trailer, pull up th ewharf to pick me up, drive us to the spot, use the leccy, more driving, more use of the leccy, drop me back off at the wharf and then drive the boat back on the trailer. I think he drove the boat more than me, but thats ok cause I like who ever is on board to feel like its their boat and feel comfortable.

I never expect anything except great company, a chat, some talk of techniques and hopefully good fishing.

I can't reallt ask somone to help clean the oat cause I do it when I get home and I live in the sticks so thats to much to ask.

  13. Mate get the boat that you suits you to what you exactly want as you don't want to regret buying it at a later date. With all boats there is a compromise when buying it unless you can get it custom built, then it will have all the bells and whistles and have them in all the right places and that is where you want them.

Luke snag said, try them all out and see for yourself or go for a ride in some of the guys on Fishraider. I know that if anyone wanted to buy a boat like mine I would let them have a drive and a good flog of the thing.

  14. Hi all,

I remembered some time ago about someone mentioning about a shimano computer controlled reel. Well as it happens I managed to pick up this never used model from a retired shimano rep, so I htought i might post some pics so people can see what it looks like.

    Cheers
