  5. Greg, Would have put my hand up as I'm at putney but I'm away for the weekend. Never thought the bream got that size around there. Have a great day on the water. cheers Kurt
  6. Well done Roobbie, What a way to start the day Cheers Kurt
  7. Well done Kelvin and Tony, an excellent and informative thread with some good "outside the box" ideas. . Good to see the little ones getting into them as well. They're growing up quickly to be talented fishos in their own right. You should keep a copy of your threads to show them when they are older. Cheers Kurt
  8. Haven't had a chance to go for a fish for a while and was hanging to go for a fiish last weekend to test some new rod/reel combo I picked up from o/s. Still hanging just looking at the rods and climbing the walls. Cheers Kurt
  9. TB, Good to see you on the brag board, great stuff. Wishy called all pumped up wanting to go out this weekend after seeing your pics. Kurt
  10. Well done Tony, You're on fire at the moment. Better than going to the gym Cheers Kurt
  11. Well done fellas, Those jigs are certainly performing for you. Should put egi in front of the name and watch them fly out the door. Cheers Kurt
  12. Well done on the squid. Sounds like your getting as much fishing in before the little one arrives. Do you go to the usual places or do you stay close to the lights. Got to get into night time trips, being a newby boater just make me a bit nervous. Cheers Kurt
  13. Well done you have a decent feed for the table with 15-20 squid left, 3 Kings and out by 10am Cheers Kurt
  14. Bad luck with the fish. I was the white boat that pulled up and spoke to you guys near the buoy. Have been with that guide 2 times and have boated plenty of fish. Sometimes you find the guides on the phone trying to track down where the fish may be biting. Found him to be helpful with tips, you just have to ask questions. Still trying to improve my squidding (with little success) but seeing someone else do it ihelps Thursday was tough I didn't catch any fish either but thats fishing. Think with the cold weather coming in and the full moon the fish are being a bit finicky. The prices are steep bit I worked out that it probably cost me $$$ for the day out with petrol, trailering the boat to and from the ramp, lost jigs etc, so for 7 -8 hours fishing with a guide I don't think its that bad. Cheers Kurt
