Out of interest, what is wrong with the area around Roseville Bridge? Seems clean enough and there is no heavy industry (like the Parra River).

lol wasn't the best experience We were targeting whiting/bream/flatties etc using prawns & worms. Also threw a few plastics around for an hour or two.

I was up there on the weekend and went out in the Bay in my 12 foot tinny. We launched at Little beach and headed north across the bay. Absolutely nothing bitting, saw heaps of Dolphins though. I have fished up there a few times and found it to be very, very average. Anyone know a half decent spot?

Too funny, I went for a session in the lake on Sunday and was losing the tail every cast. I never felt the bite though?? Not sure why?? How does the stinger hook work?

I only have a little 3.75m dinghy, no sounder and found out the hard way that a sand anchor is not the best thing to use at Flint & Steel

There is a story on page 3 of todays Manly Daily about this as well. Considering the entrance is extremely shallow it is amazing how the shark swam in!
