I have heard that any rapid change in pressure wether a sudden rise or a sudden drop makes the fish stomach swell and makes them think they need to feed.

Hello Raiders, Me and a few of the lads are spending the weekend on the Hawkesbury. Really hoping to get a good Jew this weekend with my PB being only 55cm. I have heard that after a good rain that we have had this week that it will push alot of the Jew out of the river and further into the mouth. Is this true??? I have always fished the usual spots Juno etc and seem to be only catching small soapies and huge flathead but still no decent Jew. If anyone has spots they think i should try let me know. My boat is named Devil Ray, it is a 5.3 metre Savage Lancer, if you see me on the water, stop and say hi, i always have a cold beer for fellow raiders

I got the navionics app and it is awesome, just bought a new boat and it has an old Garmin GPS which is as useful as tits on a bull, i have been using it until i can get some $$$$ together for a decent GPS. I am finding out what BOAT stands for. B - bring O- out A- another T- thousand

Hello Fellow Raiders, Im a new member and i just love this site. It is probably going to get me divorced as i havent got off it since i started scouring the forums. I have recently bought a 5.3m Savage boat and i am really struggling to find some decent spots to catch squid on the central coast and lake mcquarie. Any help in identifying some good locations would be a tremendous help. The only place i have had any luck is Barrenjoey head and even then it has been real hit and miss at best. I have done a majority of my fishing at JB and have never had a problem finding good squid down there.
