Thanks for the directions bat, as for distance and respect for other fisherman outhere, that would be in the top three rules of offshore fishing , in my opinion.

Yeah mate it was decked really well, I almost cryied , as for the snapper, we did well, we had around 20 fish ranging from 3-5 kgs, caught over the 4 days we were there. Luckily the ice box was in the car not in the boat at the time.

They are a great boat. Yeah thankfully it was all coverd by Insurence , other than a full boat set of my best rods. So we started all over again.

I was gutted, spent a lot of time setting it up to my preference , but at least no body was heart, it slid on the freeway for approx 100m could of been very fatel. On the bright side , it's got me in the next size up. It will follow me each year , as I fish Portland for the SBT , port Stephens in March and Sydney for everything else. I hope this year is a cracker for all raiders.

Yeah cheers bob & Robbie This is our second outsider, the first was a 625 Which we lost at wanganella , heading back from Port Phillip bay (Vic) for the November snapper Season last year. We had a tyre pop which caused The boat to snap all safety straps and chain and slide Down the freeway. Thankfully no body was injured in This accident. I'll post a few pics Cheers Ray & Nick.

It's been around 3mnths , since we started with all the extras on our new boat, cold weather and work commitments slowed us down. After reading some of our fellow raider friends runs reports, it's pushed me to get out there. So hopefully this weekend we chase any fin , browns and beyond. Weather pending.
