  5. Fishraider Pete glad to see a tackle shop on the way to Berowra waters. I've been in there a couple of times because my boat lives not far away, ie. mum and dads house. and seeing how ive woken up to go for a fish and its still pissing down with rain i might just have to go out there to have a look to see what i can buy this time.... I mean go and visit mum and dad . Cheers T-Man
  6. I've beenreading this post all day and a little bit of the morning aswell. To start with I was going to have the nick name Cheers, after my boat, but I thought about it for a while and thats how I end my phone calls and also my posts. In the end I decided to call myself T-Man. My surname is Turner so My mates used to call me T-Man, among other things. Any way its not a great story or even a good one , but its still a story. Cheers Cheers I mean T-Man

    Battery Size

hey guys just a quick note for those who may not know this.. normal car/truck batteries arent really suitable for marine usage. this is because they are used for starting motors and also a deep cycle purpose. a automotive battery there fore is really not suited. marine batteries are designed as starting batteries and a deep cycle purpose, which means they are designed to have massive discharge and then be recharged. the conctruction of marine batteries are normally absorbed glass matt which makes the a hell of a lot stronger then any other automotive battery. a maitanence free battery is also a much better option then a normal battery. also marine batteries will have a prefix of M ie M70zz or for maitanance free MFM70zz. cheers T-Man
  12. the only real benifit of changing your rims is the fact that a 13" tyre will be about half the price of a 9/10" tyre. all in all is it really worth it when was the last time you actually had to replace the tyres on your trailer??? yes it can be done and if you go to any trailer shop they will be able to give you all the advice you need. cheers T-Man
  13. i used to be it he army and trust me he is a one liner expert...... he is such a down to earth guy its not funny i mjust wish there were more officers out ther like him very old school...... doesn't give a sh*t about what anyone says about him. 15. g'day kingpin i had to move two tanks about six months ago. all i can say is transport the live rock in the tank water and take every last drop of wayter you passably can with you. if you havent had a salt water tank before it can be a lot of work setting every thing up but once it is set up they are so easy to look after its not funny good luck with it its worth it cheers T-Man
