Headed out of the bay at 5am sunday after an hr of baiting for squid for no avail.
had 2 livies frozen from the night before and a hand full of frozen shop jobs so decided to drop the frozen livies and drift over the gps marked bait school
hooked the first instantly and after a a couple of high speed runs boated this 80cm and kept for lunch
dropped the 2nd squid and on again instantly this time a few short runs and one long one after seeing the boat ended up boating another at 60cm so back to the drink.
headed back up to the origninal mark and down goes another squid that had seen better days this time whack and run and run and run - didn't stop running so i put a bit of effort and took the fight to him. after about 3 runs ended up getting the better of me in that fight - compared to the 1st fight this one was definately a keeper in my mind
down goes another worst for wear shop job and whack again but didn't get a chance to make it to the rod
was keen to get back into them but my mate was a little crook so headed back in to call it a day.
Hey fellow raiders,
Am after some help on a fishing/camping long weekend this Australia Day.
Can anyone tell me where you can camp on a beach/land by the Hawkesbury with a boat.
And if it's permitted of course....
Cheers!
